Pianist Jeffrey Siegel Presents Brahms

Keyboard Conversations® with Jeffrey Siegel brings "The Power and Passion of Brahms" to Fairfax this Sunday.

Renowned pianist Jeffrey Siegel concludes his 19th season of Keyboard Conversations® at on Sunday, April 29, at 7 p.m.

In "The Power and Passion of Brahms” concert with commentary, Siegel pays homage to one of the leading composers of the romantic era.  Brahms is considered by many to be the “successor” to Beethoven. 

Siegel will share Brahms' majestic tonal miracles in short story form -– the narrative Ballades, Op. 10 and the smoldering Rhapsodies, Op. 79.

For more than 40 years, Siegel has brought his acclaimed Keyboard Conversations® series to audiences across the country to help classical music enthusiasts and novices alike gain a richer understanding and appreciation for piano and classical music.

Tickets for "The Power and Passion of Brahms" are $19, $30 and $38. This performance is Family Friendly, with tickets for youth grades 12 and under half price when accompanied by an adult.

A free Young Artists Musicale will be held at 6 p.m. in the Concert Hall lobby. Talented piano students in grades 3 - 12 and winners of the Northern Virginia Music Teachers Association Honors Recitals will perform short pieces.
