The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce will host the local business community for after-hours networking with candidates on Thursday, Sept. 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Springfield Golf & Country Club. This annual event is organized by the Chamber’s legislative committee.

Virginia has a General Election every year on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November. Federal offices are elected in even-numbered years. The Chamber’s leadership urges you to go to the polls November 6, 2012. Voters will be voting for president and vice-president of the United States and for the offices of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
