Applications Being Accepted for Citizens Fire & Rescue Academy
All applications are due by Aug. 23.
Applications are now being accepted for the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department’s 9-week long Citizens Fire & Rescue Academy.
The academy exposes residents to fire suppression, emergency medical services, training, recruitment, special operations, and more.
Applications are being accepted until August 23 or until the 25-member class is filled. Classes start on September 19 and will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at various locations.
