The reported three major incidents between October 19 and November 2, 2011.

BURGLARY: A home in the 5700 block of Edgewater Oak Court was burglarized around 9:30 a.m. on Friday, October 21. The suspects were described as white, in their early 20s.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED/ARREST: An off-duty Fairfax County police officer was involved in a single vehicle crash on Zion Drive on Monday, October 24 shortly after 3 a.m. The officer was the sole occupant of his personal vehicle when it struck a utility pole near the intersection of Grovewood Way. The officer was not injured. PFC Sean McGlone, 41, was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated, and transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. He has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.

ROBBERY: Two men robbed a 39-year-old man in the 4700 block of Parkman Court around 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, October 30. The suspects were described as black, in their early 20s, about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 140 to 170 pounds. The victim declined medical attention.

For the week of October 26 through November 2, there were 11 property claims reported.  All were larcenies, the unlawful taking of another's property with the intention of keeping it permanently.

9200 block of Burke Lake Road - iTouch stolen from school.

7900 block of Cluny Court - Sheet metal stolen from vehicle.

5900 block of Cove Landing Road - License plate stolen from vehicle.

7900 block of Ethan Allen Lane - Wallet stolen from business.

4900 block of Ox Road -Television and computer stolen from business.

5200 Port Royal Road - Beer stolen from business.

6100 block of Rolling Road - Jewelry stolen from residence.

7300 block of Rolling Oak Lane - Cell phone stolen from residence.

6400 block of Sydenstricker Road - Camera stolen from library.

4800 block of Wheatstone Drive - Cash stolen from residence.

8600 block of Woodview Drive - Halloween decorations stolen from residence.

Countywide during this same period, the Fairfax County Police Department reported 30 arrests for domestic violence-related charges; 76 arrests for illegal drug-related charges: and 69 arrests for DWI-related charges.
