Crime Report: Girl, 16, Reports Peeping Tom

The following items are from the recent daily activity reports from the West Springfield, Franconia, and Fair Oaks Police District Stations of the Fairfax County Police Department, which includes parts of Burke.

West Springfield District Station
 
Peeping
A 16-year-old girl was woken by her dog to find someone looking into her room through a window, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. The incident was reported at 2:45 a.m. on August 5 on the 5900 block of Cove Landing Road in Burke. The man fled before police arrived.
 
Burglary
Beer was reported stolen from a Burke business on August 3, 4, and 7 on the 5700 block of Burke Centre Parkway, police report. Someone forced their way in through a window.
 
Trespassing
Several items were destroyed after someone trespassed onto a property, police said. The incident was reported at 11:35 a.m. on August 6 on the 9800 block of Burke Pond Lane in Burke.
 
Burglary
A television was reported stolen from a home at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday on the 8500 block of Parliament Drive in Springfield, police said. Forced entry was made through a rear door.
 
Burglary
Cash was reported stolen at a business at 6 a.m. on August 2 on the 8000 block of Rolling Road in Fairfax, police said.

Fair Oaks District Station
 
Indecent exposure
A 25-year-old woman was running on a path when she saw a man exposing himself, according to the Fairfax County Police Department. The incident took place at 12:35 p.m. on August 2 on the intersection of Fields Brigade Road and Walnut Cove Circle in Chantilly.
 
Burglary
Cash was reported stolen from a home at 5:50 p.m. on August 2 on the 3500 block of Armfield Farm Drive in Chantilly, police said. Forced entry was made through a window.
 
Robbery
A 21-year-old man was walking with a friend and encountered a group walking in the opposite direction, police said. A fight broke out between the two groups of men and one of them demanded the victim’s cell phone at about 3 a.m. on August 4 on the 9500 block of Blake Lane in Fairfax.
 
Jose Ramirez-Gomes, 32, of Fairfax, and Jose Hernandez-Pena, 21, of Fairfax, were each charged with robbery.
 
Burglary
Several items were reported stolen from a home at 1 a.m. Wednesday on the 3800 block of Lightfoot Street in Chantilly. Forced entry was made through a window.

Peeping
A 41-year-old woman caught someone peaking at her through her window, police report. The incident took place at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday on the 6000 block of Rock Cliff Lane in Alexandria. The man fled before police arrived.

Burglary
An iPhone was reported stolen from a home at 10 a.m. on Wednesday from the 7600 block of Oakridge Woods Court in Lorton. Entry was made through an unlocked door, police said.
