The following items are from the recent daily activity reports from the West Springfield, Franconia, and Fair Oaks Police District Stations of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Franconia District Station

Narcotics
A 22-year-old Maryland man was charged with possession of narcotics. Officers were called to investigate a loud noise at a residence at 3:40 p.m. on May 31 on the 6800 block of Springfield Boulevard in Springfield. When police arrived, they found evidence of narcotics, according to police. The case is still under investigation with additional charges pending.

Burglary
A table was stolen from a business at 7 a.m. on May 31 on the 5500 block of Vine Street in Alexandria, according to police.
 
Pursuit
A vehicle accelerated away after an officer initiated a traffic stop, according to police. The incident took place at 8:35 p.m. on the intersection of Brookview Drive and Foldi Street in Rose Hill. The car eventually stopped on Brookview Drive. The driver, Tyree Ward, 26, of Alexandria, was charged with disregarding a stop light, driving on a suspended license, speed to elude, and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

West Springfield District Station

Burglary
Cash was stolen from a home at 5:35 p.m. on May 30 on the 4500 block of Commons Drive in Annandale. There were no signs of forced entry in the home, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

Burglary
A small safe was stolen from a home at 3:45 p.m. on May 30 on the 9200 block of Davis Drive in Lorton, according to police.

Warrant Service
Officers responded to a fight in Annandale that started when cash and prescription medication were stolen, according to police. The incident took place at 1 p.m. on June 5 on the 4200 block of Americana Drive. Police said that when they arrived the victim was not cooperative. Officers found that the victim was wanted for unrelated charges and subsequently arrested.

Burglary
Cash was reported stolen from an Annandale home at 11:05 p.m. on June 5 from the
7900 block of John Adams Court. There were no signs of forced entry.

Fair Oaks District Station

Indecent Exposure
A 23-year-old woman was running on a path in Chantilly when she saw a naked man on the path. She was not injured and the man was not found. The incident took place at 10:15 p.m. on May 31 on the 3800 block of Centerview Drive, according to police.

Burglary
Cash was stolen from a business at 9 a.m. on June 4 on the 13000 block of Fair Lakes Shopping Center in Fairfax, according to police. Forced entry was made through a door.
 
Burglary
Jewelry was reported stolen from a business at 9:30 a.m. on June 5 on the 2500 block of Chain Bridge Road in Vienna, according to police.

Shoplifting
Two women were arrested after being accused of exchanging stolen merchandise and using the cash to make new purchases, according to police. The incident took place at 10:50 p.m. on June 5 on the 11900 block of Fair Oaks Shopping Center in Fairfax. Janette Magallon Sanchez, 20, of Manassas, and Almendra Canales-Corzo, 19, of Fairfax, were each charged with grand larceny, possession of burglarious tools, and using false pretense to obtain currency.
