Dryer Fire Reported in Burke Sunday Night
Fairfax County Fire Department puts out fire at home on Oakshore Court.
A dryer caught on fire Sunday night at a home in the 5700 block of Oakshore Court in Burke. A caller reportedly said that the fire started in a clothes dryer and had spread.
A Fairfax County Fire Department spokesman said Sunday night the fire was contained quickly and that no one was injured. It was uncertain whether the problem was with the appliance's electrical wiring or if an overheated dryer caught fire.
