Fairfax County Jail Bomb Threat Suspect Arrested

The suspect was arrested in Capitol Heights, MD, U.S. Marshals said.

A man accused of calling in a bomb threat to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center in October was apprehended by U.S. Marshals this week.

William Wyatt Raum was arrested Monday, in connection with the Oct. 29 bomb treat, U.S. marshal Robert Mathieson said in a press release.

On Nov. 4, a Fairfax County Sheriff's deputy assigned to the marshal's fugitive task force began investigating the bomb threat and found Raum to be a suspect in the crime.
The task force adopted the case and arrested Raum at 6 a.m. Monday in a Capitol Heights, MD apartment complex.

Raum was transported to the Prince George’s County Police Department and is awaiting extradition to Fairfax County.
