Fast Food Employee Assaulted

police report the following in their Aug. 3, 2012, weekly incident report. Addresses shown indicate blocks and not specific locations.

Assault: 6000 block of Burke Commons Road, July 30, 201, 5:15 p.m. The suspect entered the business, ordered a pizza and requested a complimentary water. The suspect filled his cup with soda rather than water, and the 51-year-old employee confronted him. The suspect became upset, hit the victim and fled.

Burglary: 7000 block of Cottontail Court, July 28, 2012, 11:30 a.m. A board member reported someone broke into the pool overnight. After jumping the fence, forced entry was made through a rear door. Cash was stolen.

Burglary: 7600 block of Fullerton Road, July 30, 2012, 8 a.m. An employee reported someone entered the business and stole cash. Forced entry was made through a window.

Burglary: 7400 block of Barkers Court, July 30, 2012, 11:40 a.m. A resident reported someone entered the home stole jewelry and a camera. Forced entry was made through a rear door.
