A fire broke out across the street from Pohick Regional Library in Burke yesterday.
Fairfax Fire and Rescue PIO said that the call about the outside brush fire came in at 12:35 p.m. The Burke Volunteer Fire and Rescue Station, the West Springfield Station and the Pohick Station responded to the fire. They were there for approximately an hour.
