Officer J.T. Frey Recognized as Officer of the Year
Longtime West Springfield policeman cited by local security firm
J.T. Frey, Crime Prevention Officer at the West Springfield Police District, was recently honored as the Officer of the Year by Asis International, an Alexandria-based security firm. West Springfield is one of the two stations that serve Lorton.
Officer Frey has been with Fairfax County for 21 years and been based out of the West Springfield District Station for the entire time. Before becoming the Crime Prevention Officer he was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Section where he focused mostly on property crime.
