Police Blotter: Burglary at Giant
Incidents reported through June 17. The following information was supplied by the Fairfax County Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Commercial Burglary:
Police are looking for a burglar who took a different approach to breaking into the University Mall Giant pharmacy earlier this month. Instead of jimmying the front door or hiding until the grocery store closed, this suspect climbed into a secure part of the pharmacy from a hole in the ceiling.
Giant employees went to investigate when they heard the pharmacy alarm at around 9:30 p.m. on June 9. They found the man helping himself to medication behind a locked gate.
The suspect fled before police arrived. Police said the man was in his 20s, about 5-feet-9 inches tall and weighing 150 to 170 pounds. He was described as white with brown hair.
