Police Blotter: Homicide, Stolen iPhones

Homicide:

Police responded to a report of a shot person on the 6800 block of Field Master Drive in Springfield on Sunday, Sept. 12 around 10 p.m. The body of 48-year-old Stephen Carr was found with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. David Patton, 44, of the 9100 block of Conservation Way in Springfield, has been charged with murder. It appears that the victim and the suspect were known to each other.
