Police: Burglary Reported at Springfield Home, Larcenies in Burke

The following items are from the recent daily activity reports from the West Springfield, Franconia, and Fair Oaks Police District Stations of the Fairfax County Police Department, which includes parts of Burke.

The following items came from the weekly activity report from the Fairfax County Police Department released on Sept. 20.

West Springfield District Station

Robbery, 7822 Rectory Lane, 9/14/13, 1:30 a.m. A 22-year-old man was exiting a convenience store when he was assaulted by up to seven men. During the assault, cash and personal property was taken from the victim, who sustained a non-life threatening injury. The suspects were described as Hispanic.

Burglary, 9000 block of Martha Jefferson Court, 9/16/13. A resident reported someone entered the home and took electronic equipment and personal property. Forced entry was made through a window.

Robbery, 4500 block of John Tyler Court, 9/16/13, 11:30 p.m. A 20-year-old man was walking when he was assaulted by eight to ten men. During the assault, cash and personal property was taken from the victim, who sustained a non-life threatening injury. The suspects were described as Hispanic.

Burglary, 7900 block of Saint George Court, 9/17/13. A resident reported someone entered the home and took electronic equipment. Forced entry was made through a window.

Robbery, 4000 block of Majestic Lane, 9/17/13, 10:30 p.m. A 18-year-old man was walking when he was assaulted by two men. During the assault, cash and personal property was taken from the victim. One suspect was described as Hispanic, 19-20 with brown hair and the other was described as black, 19-20, with shoulder-length dread-locks.

9000 block of Haywood Avenue, 2012 Toyota 4 Runner     

Fair Oaks District Station

Indecent Exposure, 4601 Stringfellow Road, 9/12/13. A 46-year-old woman was walking in a park, where she encountered a man exposing himself. The victim fled and called the police. The suspect was described as black, 30s to 40s, about 6 feet tall.

Indecent Exposure, 13059 Fair Lakes Shopping Center, 9/15/13, 3 a.m. A 40-year-old woman was walking to her car in a parking lot. A man was inside a vehicle nearby; he opened a door and exposed himself. The victim drove away and called police. The suspect is described as Hispanic, 30s to 40s, and possibly driving a gray four-door sedan.

Franconia District Station

Sex Offense, 7800 block of Lewis Chapel Circle, 9/13/13, 6:45 a.m. A 14-year-old female was walking when a man passed her and inappropriately touched her. He fled and she was not injured.
