Police Receive 14th Report in Series of Sexual Assaults

Another woman reported being groped near Hibbling Avenue.

Police said Friday morning they received a report of a 14th victim in a series of sexual assaults that have been happening in the Springfield area, according to an FCPD news release.

A 43-year-old woman was walking in the 6000 block of Hibbling Avenue around 5:45 p.m. Thursday when a man grabbed her from behind and touched her. The victim said she turned and yelled at the suspect and he fled. She described the suspect as being between 20 and 30 years old and wearing a black jacket and black pants.

Police are currently investigating the series of events that have been happening since September.
