GMU Students Robbed at Gunpoint Inside Fairfax Townhouse

Two men with guns surprised the students inside their home.

Five students were robbed Tuesday night by two men with guns who surprised them inside their townhome, according to .

The students were studying, playing video games and chatting at about 11 p.m. when they were surprised by two men with guns, who began yelling at them and demanding their money and valuables, inside the home in the 4800 block of Carriagepark Road, near the intersection with Braddock Road.

The suspects ran throughout the home; the victims complied with demands and no one was injured. The thieves stole electronics and other items.

The students called police, who arrived within minutes of the report. A K9 and the Fairfax County Police Department helicopter responded to the area as well, but they did not catch anyone.

The suspects are described as black, around 20-years-old and six-feet-tall. Both wore masks and dark clothing.
