West Springfield Man Reportedly Attacked by Neighbor

Officer Involved Shooting in Springfield Area

Burglary, 7100 block of Sontag Way, 8/30/13. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole several items to include jewelry. There were no signs of forced entry.

Assault, 8600 block of Reseca Lane, 9/1/13. A 42-year-old man was changing the oil in his vehicle when, allegedly, a neighbor attacked him with a knife. The victim was medevac’d to the hospital and later down-graded to non life-threatening injuries. Jae Kim, 39, of Springfield, was charged with malicious wounding.

Burglary, 6000 block of Hanover Avenue, 8/30/13. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole copper piping. Forced entry was made through a window.

Assault, 6900 block of Hechinger Drive, 9/1/13. A 36-year-old man was assaulted by three unknown individuals. Nothing was stolen and the victim was transported with non life-threatening injuries.

Burglary, 7200 block of Commerce Street, 9/2/13. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole cash. There were no signs of forced entry.
