Robbery at Twinbrook Baskin Robbins

West Springfield Police District Activity report through the week ending Jan. 18, 2012.

ROBBERY
A 20-year-old man was robbed while working behind the counter of the Twinbrook Plaza Baskin Robbins, 9547 Braddock Road, on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at about 7:42 p.m., reported . 

The suspect displayed a knife and demanded money from the cash register. The victim complied and the suspect fled.

Following the robbery, there was heavy police activity in the area, including the Fairfax County Police Helicopter, reported area residents.

The suspect was described as white, in his late teens, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 140 to 160 pounds. He was wearing a black, zip-front, hooded sweater.

7900 block of College Lane - Washer and dryer stolen from residence.
7700 block of Fullerton Road - Wallet stolen from vehicle.
7800 block or Heritage Drive - Cell phone stolen from business.
4400 block of Island Place - Tools stolen from vehicle.
7200 block of Jillspring Court - Air bags stolen from vehicle.
7600 block of Little River Turnpike - Purse stolen from school.
8100 block of McCauley Way - Laptop computer stolen from residence.
8600 block of Pohick Road - Wallet stolen from business.
6100 block of Rolling Road - Cell phone stolen from school.
8200 block of Singleleaf Lane - iPod and cologne stolen from vehicle.
7200 block of White House Drive - Passport stolen from vehicle.
