Community Forum on Aging Set for Friday in Springfield
The forum is part of a series of informational meetings intended to gather feedback for a new county plan designed to enrich the lives of the county's older citizens.
Burke and Springfield-area residents are invited to offer feedback about Fairfax County programs for older adults through a community forum on Friday at the Greenspring Retirement Home.
Sponsored by Lee District Supervisor Jeff McKay, the forum will last from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
The event is one of several held throughout the county in an attempt to gather input from residents on ways to create a more “livable community for older residents,” according to a news release. Presentations of the plan were previously introduced to residents in Burke on July 11 and July 17.
