Connolly will hold a telephone town hall at 8 p.m. Monday for residents of Virginia’s 11th congressional District residing in Fairfax and Prince William Counties and the City of Fairfax.

Those residing in the 11th who want to guarantee they receive a call and participate in the telephone town hall may sign up on Connolly’s official Web site: http://connolly.house.gov/sign-up-for-a-telephone-town-hall/.

Connolly (D) was recently elected to his third term in Congress. He was first elected in 2008, was re-elected in 2010 and re-elected again Nov. 6 for a third term.

Since Connolly started the telephone town halls shortly after he took office in January 2009, more than 190,000 district residents have participated in a call with the congressman, his office says. On one call in 2010, more than 30,000 people dialed in.

Any constituents who do not get the opportunity to personally ask a question of Connolly have the option of leaving a voice mail question and will subsequently receive a response, a Connolly spokesman said.
