Presidential Appearance Draws Fairfax-Area Business Owners

Barack Obama talks to locals in a Fairfax area family's backyard

President Barack Obama stopped by a Fairfax family's home this afternoon to talk economy with local small business owners.

John Nicholas and Nicole Armstrong welcomed their presidential guest with a backyard roundtable at their home on Barbara Lane just east of Fairfax City. Around 30 local small business owners, U.S. Reps Gerry Connolly and Jim Moran, Fairfax County Chairwoman Sharon Bulova, CEO Larry Poltavtsev of Target Labs in Vienna and select members of the media sat around Obama in lawn chairs and on picnic benches.
