Senate Candidate Tim Kaine to Take Calls on C-SPAN This Morning

Former governor to take questions on live program from George Mason University Law Center in Arlington.

Senate candidate Tim Kaine, the former chairman of the DNC who is running for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Sen. Jim Webb, will participate on "Washington Journal," a live call-in program at George Mason University on C-SPAN this morning from 8:30-9:15 a.m.

The program, hosted by C-SPAN's Steve Scully, will be followed by questions and answers on news of the day including the budget negotiations in Washington and the debt ceiling debate from a live audience as well as from C-SPAN viewers across the country. 

The program will air live from the George Mason University Law Center, 3301 Fairfax Drive in Arlington.

Kaine, a Democrat, is running against a large field of Republicans, including former Sen. George Allen and Tea Party candidate Jamie Radtke.

Politico reported this morning that Allen raised $1.1 million during the second quarter, trailing Kaine, who . Kaine got in the race after Allen.
