The Northern Virginia Transportation Authority finalized a list of regional transportation projects totaling about $270 million.
After hearing over 200 comments from the public, the NVTA approved the list of projects to be started or completed in 2014.
The project range from two new transit buses in Loudoun, to intersection improvements at the intersection of Herndon Parkway and Sterling Road, as Patch reported earlier this month.

Projects are part of “TransAction 2040” which is a long-term, regional transportation plan for the area.
