Burke Students Selected for 2013 Virginia Honors Choir
The students are from Lake Braddock Secondary School and Robinson Secondary School.
Four students from Burke-area schools were named as vocal musicians for the 2013 Virginia Honors Choir.
The students are from Lake Braddock Secondary School and Robinson Secondary School.
The following students were chosen:
- Lindsey Bross, Craig Momon, and Abby Sowa from Lake Braddock Secondary School
- William Hardgrove from Robinson Secondary School
A total of 35 students from Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) were selected for the choir, which is open to the top 125 singers from around the Commonwealth of Virginia, according to a news release from FCPS. Five students were named alternates.
The students will perform at the Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA) convention on Nov. 23 at the Homestead in Hot Springs, Va.
