Deadline for Public Comment on Robinson Principal Search is Wednesday

All comments have to be submitted via email by 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 29.

Burke area residents interested in providing feedback to Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) about the next principal of Robinson Secondary School have until May 29 to submit comments.

According to FCPS spokesman John Torre, all comments and public input have to be submitted by 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Former Robinson Principal Dan Meier retired in April. Currently, John Ponton, former Annandale High School principal, is acting principal of Robinson until June 30.

Comments can be submitted via email to Kathleen Jackson Crenshaw, Coordinator for Administrative Employment in the FCPS Office of Employment Services at kjcrenshaw@fcps.edu.

Last Thursday, Torre told Patch FCPS hopes to announce the new principal in mid-to-late June. FCPS has yet to decide if the selected would begin immediately after hire or in the fall.
