Rising 9th Grade Parent Night at WSHS

Rising 9th Grade Parent Night – February 16th, 6:45pm
All parents of current 8th graders are invited to attend our Rising 9th Grade Parent Night from 6:45-8:30pm on February 16th.  This program will provide information about preparing your student for his/her 9th grade year at WSHS in the fall, to include guidance concerning high school course offerings and graduation requirements.  (Your 9th grader will have just received this information on February 13th, when West Springfield High School counselors present to the 8th grade class at Irving Middle School during the school day.)
We encourage all parents to attend the ENTIRE program.
6:45-7:25pm       Electives Fair in the Cafeteria.  Parent will have an opportunity to gather information about the many electives available to your student for next year.
7:30-8:30pm       Informational session in the Auditorium about helping your student select the appropriate classes for his/her 9th grade year at WSHS in the fall.
