The holiday season is in full swing, and we’ve got a weekend planner full of local events for you to choose from.

High School Varsity Basketball Home Games

• Why Go: Support your local varsity girls and boys basketball teams as they host games on their home courts this weekend.

Falls Church High School Craft Show

• Where: FCHS, 7521 Jaguar Trail, Falls Church
• When: Saturday, December 10 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Why Go: This annual event will feature more than 50 vendors, along with music, food, and games. Some of the items for sale will include woodwork, pottery, jewelry, glass, candles, and much more.
• Price: Admission is FREE.

• “Ring in the Season” Handbell Concert; Messiah United Methodist Church, 6215 Rolling Rd, Springfield; Sunday, December 11 at 3:00 p.m. Admission is FREE; donations will be accepted.
• A Winter Wonderland Concert with the Annandale Brass; Ernst Community Cultural Center, NOVA-Annandale, 8133 Little River Tpke, Annandale; Sunday, December 11 at 4:00 p.m. Adult admission is $10; Senior Citizens and Teens $7; Children are free.

• Handel’s Messiah Sing-Along Concert; ; Sunday, December 11 at 7:00 p.m. Adult admission is $10; Senior Citizens and Students $5.

• Annual Breakfast with Santa; South Run RECenter, 7550 Reservation Dr, Springfield; Saturday, December 10 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $15 per child (includes one parent; $5 for each additional parent); ages 2 and under are free. Note: Reservations are required for this event.
• Breakfast with Santa; Church of the Good Shepherd, 9350 Braddock Rd, Burke; Saturday, December 10 at 9:00, 9:30, and 10:00 a.m. Admission is $6 per person.
• Cocoa and Crafts; Lake Accotink Park, 7500 Accotink Park Rd, Springfield; Saturday, December 10 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Admission is $25 for craft supplies and refreshments.
