Over 4,000 Virginia students got back the wrong results in their scorecards last school year, the Washington Post reports.
Pearson, a education and testing company, provided the incorrect scorecards to the students who took an alternative assessment. The error was in how the scores were converted, the Post reports.
The tests were given to students with serious cognitive disabilities as part of the Virginia Alternative Assessment Program, the Post reports.
