Lake Braddock Secondary School is among the schools with the highest number of students accepted to Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.

Fairfax County's  is tough to get into. Ranked this week by U.S. News, the school attracted 3,243 applicants this year for the 480 slots in its freshman class.

Lake Braddock Secondary School is sending almost two dozen middle school students (23) to TJHSST this year, an increase of one student over last year, placing it fifth in Fairfax County for admissions to the highly competitive high school.

Another important data point would be percentage of students that get in. Is the Carson number 11% v. LBSS at 4%? Also, which of these schools have GT Centers? That would say a lot about the success or failure of the GT program.
