Lake Braddock Secondary Student to Play in U.S. Army All-American Bowl

Senior Caleb Henderson is one of 90 high school football players who will play in the game next year.

Lake Braddock Secondary School Senior Caleb Henderson has been selected to play in the 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

Henderson, who is a quarterback for the Lake Braddock Bruins varsity football team, is one of 90 top high school football players selected for the game by the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Selection Committee.

“Henderson is a talented athlete whose leadership and teamwork qualities have made him a standout at Lake Braddock Secondary School,” said Mark Davis, deputy assistant Secretary of the Army for Marketing in a statement. “Only the strongest wear the  Army colors, and are proud to welcome all of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl players and commend each of them on their selection.”

Lake Braddock is currently undefeated with an 8-0 record. The Bruins will face the South County Stallions on Friday at home.

The 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl will be on Saturday, Jan. 4 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Tex. The game will be televised on NBC at 1 p.m.
