Surprise Win: Lake Braddock Victory Over Stone Bridge Recap, Interviews
Bruins' upset win was opponent's first area loss in two years.
Gameday Broadcast Network has a recap of Lake Braddock's win last week over Stone Bridge, 31-26. The Bruins are 2-0 so far this year.
The Washington Post notes it was the first loss for Stone Bridge against an area team since Sept. 2011.
The Gameday video includes post-game interviews with wide receiver A.J. Alexander, running back Trevor O'Brien and coach Jim Poythress.
"We had our adversity," Poythress said. "A lot of things happened that I didn't like, but the kids weathered the storm and we were able to perceiver and win the football game."
The team is off this week, but Lake Braddock's first home game will be Sept. 20 at home against Westfield High. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. See the Lake Braddock varsity schedule.
