The Workhouse will be full of fun and laughter with four comedy shows this weekend. Alex Moore, Brian Kerns and Adam Dodd of the Jokeslingers Comedy Tour are performing Friday and Saturday, August 17 and 18, at 8 and 10 p.m. Come out and join them in the hysterics that live stand-up comedy is sure to provide. Previous comedy nights have sold out, so reserve your seat early.
If comedy isn’t your thing, how about cooking lessons at the Chef’s Table? You'll work side by side with your date, as our instructor teaches the easy yet impressive techniques behind a menu of dishes designed to inspire the warm fuzzies every time. Each month a new dish is featured. Tuition is $80 per couple, and includes food and non-alcoholic drink.* A cash bar will be available. Be sure to sign up by Thursday at the latest!
Visit www.WorkhouseArts.org for more information, to purchase tickets or to register for classes.
For an extra special night, come early for either event and enjoy the U.S. Navy Band 'County Current' for a free open-air concert at 7 p.m.
