Greenspring Donates 700 Turkeys
Residents and staff participate in 9th annual Turkey Trot, donating turkeys to four local nonprofits.
For the ninth consecutive year, residents and staff participated in Turkey Trot, raising money to provide Thanksgiving turkeys to those in need.
Brad Hibbs, wellness manager at Greenspring, said each year the program grows. "Every cent collected goes toward turkeys," he said. "This year we donated 700 turkeys, which is almost five tons."

About 50 residents and staff participated in the walk portion of the Turkey Trot, while many others made monetary donations.
