See what's happening this weekend in Fairfax County: 

Sing for FacetsSix Degree Singer’s, a young professional voice choir, will perform a benefit concert at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax. Proceeds will go toward FACETS, a Fairfax County organization that works to provide services for the poor in Fairfax County. Tickets are $15 at the door. The concert is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the church on 2709 Hunter Mill Road in Oakton. Learn more about the event

Affordable Care Act WorkshopDo you need more information and background on the ACA, otherwise known as Obamacare? Come to a free workshop this Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon at Heritage Fellowship Church, 2501 Fox Mill Road, Reston.

Show Support for Special Olympics AthletesSpecial Olympics basketball athletes will take to the courts for basketball contests, a shoot-out and an all-star game, during which organizers will be tossing out prizes, running zany relays and pumping up the crowd in support of Special Olympics. All they need is some enthusiastic and supportive "cheerleaders" in the audience to encourage the athletes. Sign up today atwww.volunteer2cheer.com. Date nightThe Workhouse Arts Center is launching a new Date Night program. The program involves a series of cooking classes. The first event is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the center on 9601 Ox Road in Lorton.

Free Family Movie NightBring the family to see the animated 2012 film 'The Lorax,' based on the popular Dr. Seuss book. It's all part of Herndon Environmental Network's environmental movie series. Fun activities and discussions for all ages will follow the movie, including a brief talk by HEN's Habitat Heroes, about invasive and native plants. Walk-ins are welcome, or reserve a seat in advance. The event is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Herndon Community Center, 814 Ferndale Ave. in Herndon.

Train enthusiastsThe Washington, Virginia & Maryland Garden Railway Society will have a garden gauge (g) scale model train display at the Fairfax Station Railroad Museum from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the museum on 11200 Fairfax Station Road in Fairfax Station.
