The general election for state and local officials is Tuesday, Nov. 8. Independent candidate Will Radle, who is now running for Fairfax County Board of Supervisors chairman, received a 12-month suspended sentence, mandated anger management.
Will Radle, an independent candidate for chairman of Fairfax County's Board of Supervisors, was charged last year with assault in Arlington County, Patch has learned. Radle pleaded guilty in July 2010 to a misdemeanor charge under an Alford plea, in which a defendant claims innocence while acknowledging that prosecutors likely have enough evidence to obtain a guilty verdict in court. Radle received a 12-month suspended sentence. He was required to enter an anger management program, which Radle said he has completed. He is also prohibited from contacting the man he allegedly assaulted or going to an address in Crystal City.
