2012-2013 NCAA College Bowl Game Schedule: Northern Virginia Natives Appearing

A handful of Northern Virginia natives are playing college football bowl games in on New Year's Day. If you watch the Rose Bowl Game presented by Vizio on New Year’s Day, be on the lookout for Alex Carter of Ashburn at corner (no. 25), who graduated from Briar Woods High School. Quarterback Kevin Hogan of McLean (no. 41) graduated from Gonzaga College High School, and Safety Cason Kynes (no. 41) of Annandale graduated from Annandale High School. All three play for the Stanford Cardinal team, which will face Wisconsin. Springfield’s Mohammed Seisay is a corner for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, who face Georgia also on New Year’s Day in the Capital One Bowl. Seisay is a West Springfield High School graduate.
