The 2013 Super Bowl is almost here, and whether you're interested in the commercials, the game or the halftime show, Burke residents along with millions of others will be glued to their flat-screen TVs. Most Northern Virginians are known as huge Redskins fans (and some may even be Baltimore Ravens fans) but who can deny a good game of football? Like many, you're either throwing or attending a Super Bowl party. You'd think all you would need is chips and dip, drinks and a TV, right? According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Super Bowl Sunday is the highest day of food consumption in the country just after Thanksgiving, so it's not uncommon for there to be a lot of food and fun. Where to Watch the Super Bowl in and Around Burke

Sports bars prep for the big day on Sunday.

Are you ready for Super Bowl 47? It's coming up this Sunday, Feb. 3 in New Orleans where the Baltimore Ravens will face the San Francisco 49ers. An added twist for the 2013 Super Bowl: Brother vs. brother head coaches. Jim Harbaugh coaches the 49ers, and his brother John coaches the Ravens.
