Photos: 2012 Annual Taste of Braddock Open House

The open house was held at Braddock District Supervisor John Cook's office in Burke.

Hundreds of Annandale and Burke residents attended the 2012 Annual Taste of Braddock holiday open house Wednesday at Braddock District Supervisor John Cook's office. Representatives from the West Springfield District Station of the Fairfax County Police Department and Del. Eileen Filler-Corn (D-41) also attended. Students from Annandale High School worked as servers and prepared some of the dishes sampled by attendees. Several local businesses also provided food for the event including Spartan's Family Restaurant, Chili's Bar and Grill, Coyote Grill, Magill's Famous Pizza, Swiss Bakery and others. Hundreds Attend Annual Taste of Braddock

Holiday open house at Braddock District Supervisor's office featured food donated by local restaurants.

More the 300 people attended the Annual Taste of Braddock holiday open house at the offices of the Braddock District Supervisor John Cook. Annandale High School's culinary arts department provided the desserts, and the students worked as servers. Bill Barfield, chairman of the Braddock District Council of Community Associations, organized the food for the event.  He thanked the 25 local businesses which participated.
