NOVA Medical Education Campus to Offer Free Dental Services Friday
Northern Virginia Community College will host the event as part of 'Give Kids a Smile' and in partnership with the Northern Virginia Dental Society.
The Medical Education Campus of Norther Virginia Community College will host the 2013 "Give Kids a Smile" event, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Medical Education Campus at 6699 Springfield Center Dr., in Springfield. NOVA partnered with the Northern Virginia Dental Society to provide free dental services for preschool-aged children during the event. Approximately 200 children are expected to attend and will receive dental services including evaluations, cleanings and sealants. Children with advanced dental issues will receive immediate treatment to fill or extract teeth with parents' consent. Dental services during the event will be provided by local volunteer dentists, dental assistants and dental hygiene students from NOVA.
