Taking your pet to the vet can be an unnerving experience for both of you. Anxiety and fears are understandable. When you call to make an appointment with your veterinarian, it is usually for one of two reasons: either your pet is due for a routine visit such as an annual examination, or your pet has a medical issue that you cannot handle without the help of your vet.
