Burke Caribou Coffee Plans Revealed

The coffee chain announced plans to close 80 locations across the country and convert others to Peet's Coffee & Tea.

It appears that Caribou Coffee, which has a location in the Burke area, is one of the coffee shops to escape the chopping block according to employees who work there.

The company announced Monday plans to close 80 underperforming locations across the country and convert more than 80 shops to Peet’s Coffee & Tea locations.

While the company has not released an official list of closing stores, an employee at the Caribou Coffee at 8948 Burke Lake Road said it will become a Peet's Coffee & Tea in October.
